Human Touch Acutouch™ HT-7450 Zero-Gravity Massage Chair in Dark Chocolate Leather
Human Touch®, the leading brand of high-technology, design-oriented massage chairs for today’s modern and traditional living spaces, is focused on an innovative collaboration between wellness, style and technology for consumers seeking to incorporate health and wellness into their everyday routines. For more than 30 years, Human Touch has been pushing the boundaries of innovation and design with the most advanced Human Touch Technology®, appealing to back pain sufferers, sports enthusiasts, and those looking to respite from today’s hectic lifestyles.
Its sophisticated proprietary technology has reset the bar, which has led to the creation of the revolutionary Acutouch™ HT-7450 Zero-Gravity Massage Chair that was named an Innovations Honoree by the Consumer Electronics Association and a Housewares Design Award Finalist, last year. And in 2009, it received the Silver Award from Design Journal’s Award For Design Excellence (ADEX) competition, citing the product’s ability to relieve soreness, tension and fatigue caused by gravity, while blending into any décor and home or office environment.
One of the Elite Series of massage chairs, the HT-7450, is the world's first massage chair that incorporates the latest advances in both massage and back-care technology to counteract back and muscle pain caused by gravity's adverse effects. Once seated, the chair’s back, seat and footrest synchronously recline to situate the body in a position that reduces the physical strain that is exerted on the body by gravity. The chair’s Acupoint® Detection System then proceeds to scan the entire length of the back, creating a map of key pressure points to target during the massage. Subsequently, the user is treated to a massage that targets the sciatic nerve with pulsating seat massagers that pinpoint “problem areas” and deliver a deep, invigorating massage.
Its AcuTouch™ Massage Technology reflects a combination of Acupoint® detection and Massage Comfort Control. Massage Comfort Control manages the intensity of the massage and can be used to create a seating experience of unsurpassed comfort and relaxation. Patented Human Touch Technology® is designed to emulate the techniques of a professionally trained massage therapist and has been heralded for its replication of the care given by back and spinal care professionals. Used today as an adjunct therapy for the treatment of back pain and spinal disorders in chiropractic clinics across the country, the contoured tracking system that follows the curve of the spine for a more natural and complete massage is the preferred choice of the World Federation of Chiropractic.
Eight full-body pre-programmed wellness massages range from “full body sore muscle relief” to “after work stretch.” The user is able to customize each massage to include the neck, back, seat, foot and calf, and dual lumbar heat, as well as the ergonomically designed neck-contoured comfort pillow and memory foam seat cushion that ensure ultimate personalized comfort -- the same unsurpassed softness and comfort that cushions NASA astronauts as they are propelled into space.
Key beneficial details of the different functions include:
Zero-Gravity Design: reclining in a zero-gravity position, with the knees above the heart, relaxes and decompresses the spine; this neutral posture increases blood circulation, enhances comfort and enables a more invigorating and effective massage.
Dual-Lumbar Back Heat: the heat modules gently warm the lower back muscles, gradually reducing tightness and pain; heat calms and soothes back muscles, preparing them for a more restorative massage and
faster relief.
Foot And Calf Massager: Incorporating Figure-Eight™ technology that massages the calves in an upward, rolling or wave-like fashion. This technology forces blood away from the feet and toward the core of the body. Adjustable width control allows the width and intensity of the foot and calf massager to be adjusted and customized.
Synchronized Seat Recline: as the chair reclines, the seat automatically tilts downward independent of the backrest, allowing the body to naturally move into the most comfortable and effective massage position; this patent-pending seat design provides superior lumbar support and allows for an optimal massage at any recline angle.
True-Zero Armrests: the armrests glide independently of the backrest as the chair reclines, ensuring the optimal ergonomic ratio between the arms and body; there is virtually no stress or strain on the neck, shoulders or arms while in a reclined position.
“We design products with exclusive functionalities that promote wellness and make people feel invigorated. However, of equal importance is producing chairs and massagers that have aesthetically pleasing designs,” says Andrew Corkill, director of marketing of Human Touch. “We understand that form and function should balance each other equally to fit not only the lifestyle of its user, but also their taste.”
