The Scorpion is an environmentally conscious supercar which utilizes a blend of both standard petroleum gasoline and a pure hydrogen gas mixture to fuel the 450 horsepower machine. By introducing hydrogen gas into the fuel mixture the Scorpion is able to increase fuel economy dramatically, achieving up to 40 miles to the gallon, as well as significantly reduces noxious CO2 emissions.

Part of what makes the Scorpion so revolutionary is the on board electrolysis which converts water stored on board to hydrogen gas, a system Ronn Motor Company has termed H2GO Hydrogen On-Demand. Past vehicles have utilized hydrogen gas to increase fuel economy, however, the gaseous substance is stored in a pressurized tank, on board, which could pose hazardous should the tank explode. Ronn Motor Company is the first to successfully employ a complete electrolysis system on board its supercar, a simple tank of non-pressurized water is contained on board. The H2Go system then creates hydrogen gas as needed.

After the water is converted to gas, the 3.5-liter V6 engine is injected with an air/fuel allowing the Scorpion to run with less fossil fuel, while also permitting the car to run to its full potential without hurting the environment in the process.

Ronn Motor Company has created the most powerful fuel-efficient car on the market right now. The V-6 hydrogen-injected roadster engine produces 450 (Scorpion) or 650(Scorpion HX) horsepower and can reach speeds above 180 mph while still maintaining a 40mpg range.

Not only is this car fuel efficient, its design and attention to detail make it a cut above many competing exotic supercars, whether they are fuel efficient or not. The Scorpion’s hand built carbon fiber frame and HID Xenon headlights, chrome molly chassis, Recaro seats, and Indy car independent suspension make it one of the most powerful looking high performing beasts on the road today while the aerodynamic body and exotic color palate allow for a breathtaking first impression while it powerfully zooms by.

The body is hand crafted in carbon fiber and weighs 2,100 pounds allowing it to reach 60mph in only 3.5 seconds. Ronn Motor Company plans to produce only 200 of these supercars keeping them exclusive at the price of $175,000.
