Much like a country club, Members pay an initial fee as well as annual dues, which gives them access to every property within the club’s collection.
Properties are located in a wide range of destinations ranging from chic urban apartments to charming beach cottages, from spacious five-bedroom homes to an 80-ft. private yacht. Most homes feature two to five bedrooms, spacious living areas, chef-inspired kitchens and ample outdoor gathering spaces. Ultimate Escapes features properties in popular ski destinations including Telluride, Beaver Creek and Jackson Hole, and popular beach destinations including Belize, Hawaii and Nevis, as well as top urban locales like Paris, London and Manhattan. Additionally, Ultimate Escapes allows Members to use Club nights to stay in luxury hotels and affiliate resorts in locations worldwide, including Sydney, Phuket, Hong Kong and Prague.
Most recently, the Club expanded its portfolio, completing the acquisition of certain assets from Private Escapes Holdings, LLC, the third largest destination club. Ultimate Escapes acquired 49 new club properties from Private Escapes with recent appraised values totaling approximately $50 million. The 49 Private Escapes properties acquired are located in 28 beach, mountain, golf and metropolitan destinations throughout the continental United States, Hawaii, Mexico, Central America, the Caribbean and Europe.
A leader in the destination club industry, Ultimate Escapes assigns Members to an Escapes Planner who takes care of every advance detail, from reserving the home and suggesting itineraries to booking tee times, private chef services, special excursions, spa appointments and more. At each destination, a Local Host prepares the home to the Member’s specifications, stocks the refrigerator and wine cellar, provides necessities for children such as cribs or highchairs, offers insider tips about the destination and handles any last-minute requests. These highly personalized services allow Members to avoid the tedium of planning, and instead thoroughly enjoy their vacations.
Members of Ultimate Escapes enjoy the most destinations, as well as more choices in Clubs and membership levels, than any other destination club. Each of its three distinct Clubs has five Membership levels, plus the option to turn any Membership into a Corporate Membership. The main difference between the three Clubs is in average home value: $3 million for Elite ClubSM homes, $2 million for Signature ClubSM homes and $1 million for Premiere ClubSM homes. Membership levels are based on the number of days spent vacationing annually. Members pay a one-time membership fee (starting at $70,000) and annual dues based on the amount of Club use, ranging from 14-60 days.
